The PJW Area VI tournament is fast approaching. I have attached the form. The form is now up to 3 pages. I need the first 2 pages back. Page 3 is information for you and the parents.

Forms must be mailed by March 1. Online entries will be accepted until March 2.
Entries can be hand delivered to Ron Payne or Andy Payne at the Cochranton Open tournament on March 2.
Entries can be hand delivered to Steve Hoover at the PIAA AA Regional tournament at Sharon HS on March 2 as well.
Seeding meeting is March 10 at Mercer HS at 3:00 pm.

WMVL Cool 101.7 FM of Meadville, WGRP 940 AM of Greenville and WLOA 1470 AM of Farrell will broadcast the championship finals of the Fred Bell Memorial Wrestling Tournament at Grove City High School on Saturday, January 26. Announcers Dan Albaugh and Steve Williams will go on the air at approximately 6:10 p.m. with a pre-match show. The finals are slated for a start of 6:30 p.m.
For those outside the broadcast area, you can listen to the action on the Internet at www.cool1017online.com and www.940wgrp.com.

The Varsiy team will be attending the Southmoreland Tournament on Friday December 28th and 29th! Wrestling begins Friday at 9AM!
Junior High will be attending the Youngsville Tournament on Saturday December 29th. Wrestling begins at 9AM!
Practices will coninue today for the varsity fom 9-11AM and = the Junior High practices will also continue 11-12:30 at the High School today and Friday!

- Middle School HYDRATION TESTING will be held Thursday November 15th 2012 at 6:30PM

- Middle School Physicals will be held November 6th 2012! Be sure to tell your friends (or your kids) to get the paper work filled out so you can get on the mat! First practice will be November 16th after school!
- Open mat is going on at the High School on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30PM All high school, middle school and elementary kids are invited!
- YOUR wrestling booster meeting will begin on Monday November 5th at 7:00PM at the high school. PLEASE please please attend as the program needs your support. The more people that attend means less work for everyone! Let's try not to work this year!!!

NIAGARA tournament is starting out pretty good. Team is in 6th place out of 28 and Jesse Rivera, Luke Walter, Cole Cameron, Trey Maher and Wes Phipps are in the Championship Quarter finals. Kenny Bable, Jarrod Sample, Chet Simoni, Ben Hoffman, Stephan Boyle, Cameron Marlowe are in the wrestle backs. Wrestling resumes at 10AM!

January is an extreamly full month of wrestling for our Eagles. Five head to head duals during the weeks to come and three two day tournaments starting tonight against Mercer and this weekend in Niagara Falls, NY. The following week they wrestle two home contests against West Middlesex and Sharpsville. The third week they travel to Reynolds and cap the week off by traveling North to the North East tournament for the two day event. The last week of January our Eagles wrestle at home against Oil City and HOST the annual Fred Bell tournament.
So the month of January is a great month to come watch your Eagles compete at home three times and can come watch the Fred Bell tournament!

Your Eagles placed 8th out of 35 teams this weekend at the Jamestown Holiday Classic! Not a bad shpwing considering the Eagles were without their 120 pounder and gave up the 97 pound weight class that exists in New York. Giving up those points and still placing 8th is a great sign for what is to come this season!

The 27th annual Jamestown Holiday Classic Wrestling Tournament is set for THIS Friday and Saturday at Jamestown Community College.
The first session begins at 2 p.m. on Friday with the second session beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday with the finals and consolations scheduled at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for adults are $3 for the first session, $5 for the second session
and $5 for the finals and consolations. A ticket for $7 is available for both sessions Friday and Saturday.
Students pay $2 for the first session, $3 for the second session and $3 for the finals and consolations, and $5 for both sessions Friday and Saturday.
PLEASE come support your Varsity wrestlers! Updates will be provided after each session!
